A/B testing is a user experience research methodology including randomized experiments with 2 variants — A & B. A popular method that helps to determine the best fit for the user audience. For test engineers, it can be a challenging task to test features under A/B testing. They are required to focus on each variant as different application flows 🌊
For example, the login process can have changing variants for different users and the testers will need to test all the possible variations for a single process that is the login.
But how can you make sure the same automation script behaves differently based on different user personas? 🤔 And is it worth investing in automating such flows in the first place? 🙇♀️
I decided to tackle these questions in my latest article 💪🏻 Check out the full article here.

Selenium is the leading open source solution for web test automation. Furthermore, many of my friends mentioned that it is their preferred functional testing tool. The problem is when it comes to test reports, which are a crucial part of any test automation framework, yet surprisingly enough there are very few dedicated reporting tools for automated testing available out there 😧 As we know, Selenium is only a driver and does not have any built-in features for that.
In this article, I’m reviewing the pros & cons of the 8 notable test reporting solutions for generating Selenium automation reports: TestNG, Extent Reports / Klov, Robot Framework, TestProject’s OpenSDK, Allure, JUnit plugin for Jenkins, JUnit and Azure DevOps.
If you are familiar with additional test automation test reporting tools for Selenium, please share and I’d be happy to add them to my list! 📃
